Prohibited Jurisdictions

• Payroid serves individuals with a Nigerian bank account and a Nigerian phone number. Payouts settle only to Nigerian bank accounts held in the verified account holder's name.
• You may access your account while travelling, but the service itself (wallets, payouts, bills) remains Nigeria-domiciled.
• We do not currently offer accounts to businesses, or to residents of other countries, even where a Nigerian bank account exists.

We do not open accounts for, and will close accounts operated from or on behalf of persons in, jurisdictions that are:

• Subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by the United Nations Security Council, or by other sanctions programmes we screen against (including OFAC, UK OFSI, and EU lists), for example the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Iran;
• Identified by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) as high-risk jurisdictions subject to a call for action (“black list”);
• Assessed by our own risk programme as unserviceable for legal or operational reasons.

These lists change as sanctions regimes change; we apply the list in force at the time of screening rather than freezing a snapshot into this page.

• We screen customers against applicable sanctions lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
• We do not serve persons designated on those lists, or persons acting on behalf of designated persons or entities.
• Matches are frozen pending review and reported to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit where required.

• Using VPNs or other means to disguise a prohibited location is a breach of our Terms and grounds for closure.
• If your circumstances change, for example if you relocate to a jurisdiction we cannot serve, contact us. We will help you withdraw your balance and close the account in an orderly way where the law permits.
