A worked example, not a quote. Your own figure depends on your brand, country and format.

Exactly how your naira figure is built.

Face value, then the rate for your brand, country and format, then any fee: that's the full calculation, on screen before you submit. What you agree to is what gets paid, nothing added after. Verification tiers set how much you can sell in a day.

Check your card's rate

How a sale works.

Three steps, and you see the figure before anything moves.

  1. 1

    Pick your card

Brand, country, card format and value, then send it as a cash receipt, debit receipt, e-code or photo.

  2. 2

See the rate and fee, then agree

The rate and the fee for your exact card show on screen. Nothing moves until you agree, and what you agree to is what gets signed into your receipt.

  3. 3

A person reviews, then the payout follows

A reviewer checks the card. Once it clears, the payout goes to your wallet or a bank account in your own name, whichever you chose, and your signed receipt arrives with it.

A person checks every card.

Nothing moves until someone has actually looked at it, and every trade leaves a signed record behind.

  • A real person reviews every card before naira moves.

  • Your receipt carries the rate, the fee, the timestamp and where the naira landed.

  • If your receipt and your bank ever disagree, that gap is on us. We make it right.

Buy gift cards with the same wallet.

Search the catalogue for the brand and country you need. The full naira price, face value, rate and any fee, shows before you pay. The code lands in your account and stays there until you need it.

  1. 1

Pick the brand, country and value

Search the catalogue for the card you want, then choose the value in its own currency.

  2. 2

See the full price, then pay from your wallet

Face value, the rate and any fee are itemised on screen before you confirm. Confirm, and it comes out of your wallet, the same one you top up by bank transfer.

  3. 3

The code lands in your account, receipt signed

It's encrypted and stays there until you need it. If the order doesn't go through, the naira returns to your wallet automatically: no code, no charge.

Questions people ask before they sell.

What card formats do you accept?

Cash receipt, debit receipt, e-code and physical cards verified by photo. Format is one of the inputs, along with brand and country, that decides your rate, all chosen before you see the figure.

What happens if my card doesn't pass review?

If a card doesn't pass review, no naira moves and you're told why. If it passes review but redeems for less than declared, we cover the difference rather than pay you less than agreed, and tell you why.

Can I sell a card with only some of its value left?

Yes. The rate applies to the balance actually on the card, not its original face value, and we confirm that balance during review before the figure is agreed.

What do verification tiers change?

Each verification tier sets how much you can sell in a day. Light verification gets you started, and adding fuller identity documents raises the ceiling, in line with CBN limits.

Does the naira land in my wallet or go to my bank?

Either. Choose a payout to your wallet or to a bank account in your own name when you submit the card. A wallet payout is a balance you can spend on bills or move out later as a withdrawal; a bank payout settles the trade in one step.

Where does a gift card code go when I buy one?

Straight into your Payroid account, where it stays, encrypted, until you're ready to use it. No email to check, no separate code vault to log into.

What happens if an order I paid for doesn't go through?

If it fails after your wallet is debited, the naira returns to your wallet automatically. You're never left having paid for a code that doesn't exist.

Sell it. See the naira. Keep the receipt.
